When God Puts Us On Hold

The Bible says; (Ecc 3:1) “To Everything there is a Season”

So no matter how hard we try to pray our selves out of a situation or trial - or how hard we try to work it out. I truly believe there are certain situations we are not meant to “Change”- rather the bible teaches us to do certain things:

1. Wait upon the Lord - In His timing, He will pull us out of it.

2. Learn to Endure whatever it is we are going through.

3. Learn something from that situation - all things have a purpose whether we like it or not,  God will use that problem or situation we are going through to teach us something beneficial !!!!! (trust me i have been there and maybe so have you)

Paul the Apostle calls these times; “Light afflictions, which is just for a moment” in (2 Corin 4:17) You see, when we can’t change our circumstances or problems - the best thing to do is to ask God in prayer to give us the “STRENGTH” to go through them.

Remember each season in life has its purpose -So don’t try to get out of it prematurely, let it do its work in You !!!

Sincerely

Pastor Max

As always - this is a timely message! Thank you Pastor. I agree 100% God give me the strngth to go through…

I’m going to share this with someone at work (not a church member) who needs this as much as I do.

(p.s. - Sunday’s message was unbelieveable! I have two seeds. One for home and one to carry in my purse - just in case :-)

Thank you Pastor Max for those ecouraging words. Very true, i have also found myself in situations and didn’t understand why i was going through them at that moment but as we endure and pray for strength God will bring us through and make us stronger than when we went in. Im so excited to see everything God is doing in our church and how he is moving and providing the needs even for the SE building, its a reminder that he has his hand upon our ministry and i am forever grateful i am a part of it.

    Pastor Max,
Your March 17th blog entrance hit right at home for me. Sometimes, it’s awfully hard to wait on the Lord. I’m studying Isa. 40:31 right now, with explanations of what an eagle does. One thing stuck out in the study is that he allows the storm to raise him above it. The eagle soars, he mounts up and goes straight up. I am realizing that our Heavenly Father wants us to learn from our challenges. In the past, I did not endure, I went to drugs/alcohol seeking a solution. Allowing the storm to throw me around like a rag doll.
I am LEARNING to endure, each challenge, one minute at a time with my agreement with my Heavenly Father - Prayer. Thank you for the confirmation. May God continue to bless you, Sis Linda, and all of my Portland family. I’ll be visiting soon.:-))

    Pastor Max,
Thank you for this powerful word it really hit home for me. God has me in a waiting situation at this time in my life. I could push buttons and make things happen faster if I choose too. But, I’ve decided to wait on God, because He knows best (regarding my moving from one place to another). He knows the doors that He wants me to go through. If I choose not to wait I could fall short of the blessings He has for me. I choose to wait on God’s timimg. I too believe that each season has its own purpose! Thanks again. I love you, Sister Linda and your family very, very much. Adrian-AJ

It is in these times that God is growwing us and strengthening us, however sometimes when we are there we tend to forget that we are being schooled and just want out for recess. I Love the fact that God turns ALL things around for his Honor and Glory and desires to never leave us the same. Thanks for the timely word.
